Biography of Taylor Annisette

Taylor is a multi-talented creative, working as a writer, creator, artist, and animator, and she has been working in animation for over a decade with years of experience in children's television. She has worked in almost every stage of animation - from storyboards to art directing - on shows like "Daniel Tiger's Neighbourhood", "Wild Kratts", and "Blue's Clues & You".

Her short film about growing up mixed race, "Fitting In", has been screened in over 20 film festivals around the world, including the Ottawa International Film Festival, in which it was officially selected for the Children's Competition.

She is a proud graduate of BIPOC TV & Film’sKids TV Writing Bootcamp 2020’, ‘LOL Comedy Class 2020’, and ‘Showrunner Bootcamp 2021’. She is currently working as a freelance screenwriter full-time, as well as developing her own original animated children’s show with PBS Kids and Portfolio Entertainment. Some of the shows she has written for include “The Snoopy Show” with WildBrain and Apple+, “Hamsters of Hamsterdale” with Nickelodeon, “Dino Ranch” for Disney Jr, and both “16 Hudson” and “Galapagos X” with Big Bad Boo.

Taylor’s true love is to create things and tell stories in her own authentic voice, and she is especially fond of comedies with heart.
